Students will be making their own Native American dream catcher using the elements of art and briefly learn about the history of dream catchers. Ill. Concept(s): definitions of art terms and general art ideas presented as content of the lesson Native American: a member of any of the indigenous peoples of the Americas Dream Catcher: a small hoop containing a horsehair mesh, or a similar construction of string or yarn, decorated with feathers and beads, believed to give its owner good dreams.
